The spirits of the brothers atLambda Omega have been elevated
to heights which have not been attained for qiulte some time. Cui*
new Field Seoretai-y Brian Dunster (BC 80') was pleased with the
progress of the chapter and believes we have a fighting chance for
the "Condon Cup"' (most improved chapter).
The improvements on the house are an attraction that every
graduate must experience. Alot of effort has been put In by actives
and graduates alike and we would like to thank all those who helped
make the chapter house a home again.
With the promise of a fruitful year ahead, the chapter wishes
all brothers of Lambda Omega a satisfying fall and hope to see
you all at Homecoming.

Rush
Fifteen rushees are currently under consideration for pledging
and a strong future looks guaranteed• A rush seminar held by the
BCA for the actives was a great help and will aid the planning of
this year's rush program.
Bids will be out on the fifteenth of
October and pledging will take place on the twenty-first at 7:00,
All grads arc woloome to attend.
House Renovations
Renovations on the house started on the
of August and are al
most over with a few remaining touches to be added by the brothers.
It is safe to say the house hasn 't looked so good in quite some
time. '-I^he crowning acheivement is a completely new upstairs bathroom
with two (2) new showers, although the entire house has been
resurrected. With the renovations, the house is filled to capacity
and is once more the focal point of fraternal association. Special
thanks to all those who helped paint and cleanup on three work
weekends, the BCA and the House Corporation included.
A pay telephone was installed in the upstairs closet to
eliminate cash loss on long distance calls and such. The new
Lambda Omega hotline is 519-432-0071.

1981 ACADEMY
Brothers Mike E. Hap-arty, Robert C. Cameron, John T, Anderson,
Claude G. Beauchamp and Paul "Spuds" Renaud attended the 1981
Academy
this post summer. Lambda Omega was honoured to have two
of its brothers tako part in the pomp and ceremony of the biannual
liver destroying educational event. Brother Mike Kagarty acted
as the Symposiarch (Grand Poobah) of the Norris Pig Dinner and had
the entire congregation on the edge of their seats with his
explosive introductions (thank you Mike Jones) and his heart
rending closing remarks. Brother Claude Beauchamp acted as the
Corresponding Secretary in a model initiation ceremony and didn't
even screw up his lines. Both really did excellent jobs and we're
proud of you.
The information these brothers gathered will be
of service to the Chapter in this upcoming all important year,
