Wilkinson Award to Faul
Psi honored at summer Ekklesia
Fricliiy, August 23, 1968, was one of the
HR'atest clays in tlie liistory of Psi. The
strengtli of tlie chapter was recognized by
tlie seven awards presented to Psi at tlie
120t]i Grand Baliania Ekklesia.
Waha.sh Fijis came into the spotlight at
the awards luncheon that afternoon. Psi re
ceived the Brightnian Award for e.scellence
in graduate relations, second place in Jordon
Bowl competition for highest eoinparatise
scholarship in tlie Fraternity, and third in
Coon Pkujue judging for the best chapter
publication. The C'villc delegation also
copped two special scholarship certificates.
At the Ekklesia banquet Friday night,
the men of Psi were quite proud to find that
Hobert L. Faul, Wabash '68, was presented
the Cecil |. Wilkinson Award for the most
outstanding senior in Phi Gainina Delta.
Bob's acceptance .speech demonstrated his
high regard for and understanding of the
ideals of tlie Fraternity. Also at tin's time,
the men of Psi received an honorable men
tion in Chencv Cup competition for e.xcellence in school, Fraternitv relations and
cxlra-cnrricnlar alfairs.
