I'd like to take this oppor

Days Alone...

On November 2 and 3, 1990, a reunion of
classes of 1938-1947 took place at the
Sonesta Village Resort in Orlando, Florida.
37 Fijis and wives (a total of 70 persons)
assembled from Galifomia to Connecticut,
from Canada to Texas, in a glorious re
union'. In addition to golf and tennis, the
main events were a Friday night Vanquet at
the Sonesta Village Resurt (with presenta
tion of Golden Owl or Silver Owl certificates
from Phi Gamma Delta headquarters, and
comments by each Brother by classes),

we were in school at the University of Illi

from the University of Colorado) were active

this issue, and encourage any other mes

It is interesting that four sets of real broth
ers attended: Walt and Gordy Benson,
Fred and Bob Vance, Jim and Bob Beam,
and Jack and Dale (Buv) Leifheit.
Currently, the Chi lota is #10 in the num
ber of graduates supporting the Phi
Gamma Delta Educational Foundation for
1989-90, with 80 Brothers contributing.
