A PUBLICATION OF THE CHI MU ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
FUND DRIVE PLEDGES NEAR $100,000
Bill Barren '59, chairman of the Fundraising Committee of the Chi Mu
Alumni Association has announced pledges of nearly $100,000 toward
the campaign goal of$750,000. These pledges have come primarily from
members of the Board of Trustees and the Fundraising Committee.
Brother Barron said he was quite pleased that virtually all of the gradu
ating seniors from the last two classes at the Chapter have pledged $500
each to be paid over a period of five years.
T think this demonstrates the commitment and support of the recent
graduates to our project, and it should challenge all the rest of us to care
fully look at our own support," Barron said.
To date, pledges have come from graduates from 1933 to 1991 and have
been in amounts up to $10,000. Brother Barron reminds aU of us that this
isjust an initial report and before the formal campaign has commenced.
