Dear Brothers,
The winter Meeting for 1993 will be held January 31, 1993. We will
hold the meeting in Squires (room TBA) at 10:00 am. Please attend
the meeting or send a proxy with someone who will attend. I
apologize for the short notice of this meeting.

Old Business - None carried forward.
New Business A. We are considering having the chapter pay for the
registration fee for 2 officers (approximately $35
apiece) for Ekklesia.
B. Once again, the undergraduate chapter's Accounts
Receivables (ARs) are seriously in arrears. They are
about ten to twelve weeks behind. The new treasurer is
looking for ways to handle this. Please be prepared do
discuss this.

General Announcements
Bill and Kelly Woodward visited Northern Virginia recently. They
are still living in Texas. Their son, Matthew, is about 8 months
old now. Drop the proud parents a line if you get the chance.

Colin and Julie Winchester are expecting their first child. Julie
is due in late spring.
Shandon Thompson recently completed his studies to become a
chiropractor. He is intending to purchase a practice in Leesburg
and move back to Northern Virginia in March or so.
Pat Reilly and Matt Swinney have moved back into the area after
living in Florida for a while.
\r\nDear Brothers,
This is your formal notification of the quarterly meeting of the Rho Alpha
Chapter House Corporation. The meeting will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Marriott
Hotel, April 11. I hope each of you attending has made your reservations in
our hotel block.
The following motions are to be introduced under new business.
(1) Allow the Corporation officers to refinance the current loan with
Dominion Bank in Blacksburg, approximately $7,000, and an additional $8,000
for continued renovations for the Chapter House.
Discussion:
With on-campus housing become a thing of the past for us and
continued liability worries...the following proposed work is planned for the
summer - (a) Pipe up the creek (b) Redo upstairs bathroom for 2 showers/2
toilets and other assorted plumbing work
(c) Continue window replacement
started a couple of years ago. With lower interest rates, approximately $800
for the loan costs, we will have around $7,000 for continued renovations by
contractors only.
A written agreement will be made with the chapter on
cleanup work. Please call Danny Kallick for additional information,comments.
(2) The proposed budget for 1992/1993 is on the other side of this page. It
assumes renovation work will be passed.
The amounts balance out if not
passed. Please write in under your vote under by-law change on postcard.
The annual mininum of at least $30 for House Corporation minutes and voting
rights is due at Pig Dinner. If you are unable to attend, please send your
$30 with the postcard on your vote.
VACANCIES: All graduate positions are to be elected at Pig
Corporation, BCA and the PL will be open. Please consider your
the positions. You must be present to vote. You may not be
elected.

The scholarship fund is still accepting TAX-DEDUCTIBLE contributions. Our
graduate-funded scholarship will be handed out during Pig Dinner. Your TAXDEDUCTIBLE contribution will gladly be accepted at Pig Dinner.
Lastly, bring your latest job/baby/spouse information to Pig Dinner. Don't
forget to bring any photo albums you might have to share and your old FIJI
shirts to show.
