ALPHA UPSILON EARNS IFC AWARDS
As the new year begins, the
brothers here in Auburn would like
to wish you and your family the
best in 1998. We had the privilege
of pledging 26 fine young men ear
lier this fall and have had the joy
of watching them as they work
their way toward becoming broth
ers and continuing the excellence
treat held at Camp Mac. This year,
we used part of the weekend as a
pledge retreat and the other part for
the brothers.
We hope to see everyone this year
for Pig Dinner in April. We are
trying to make this year's bigger than
n..
ever and are counting on your partici
pation. Until then, we wish the best
for all of you and hope to see everyone
around the house come spring.
War Eagle,
President Eric Cerny

It's hard to believe that yet an
other football season has passed us
by, but this one was very enjoyable.
Homecoming week was busy as
usual, but it was all made worth
while when we placed in the float
competition. It was good to see all
of you who were able to stop by for
lunch before most of the games. We
look forward to continuing this
V
tradition next football season and
seeing even more of you.
Continuing our winning tradition
in athletics, our brothers have won
three of the four intramural sports
championships this fall. We claimed
fraternity titles in track, swimming
and diving and soccer, while both
our brother and pledge football
teams made it to the playoffs. IFC
recognized the success of our chap
ter by presenting us with several
awards, including Most Involved on
Campus, Best Managed Chapter,
Chapter with the Best Relations with
the University and Best Risk Man
agement Program on Campus. Out
going President Ryan Duncan was
given the distinction of being named
the Most Outstanding President.
