to donate the capital necessary to
purchase the flag.
The entire chap

"Thank You!" to Jerry for this.
The
support from three other outstanding
graduate Brothers, Don Mighell (Texas
'56), harry Watson '71 and Bill Niederer '85 is also very much apprecia
ted.
Once again, thanks to every
one of our graduates for their help!

HELPING OTHERS . . . .
The Fall '85 pledge class did an
outstanding job building a swinging
bridge for the Methodist summer camp
for handicapped children here in Terre
Haute.
In the planning stages is an Ebony/
Ivory dance for the entire Greek
community at ISU, both black and
white. The Phi Gams are working with
the ISU chapter of Omega Psi Phi in
staging this first-time-ever event.
Merchant donations of Pepsi and items
to be "auctioned" presently total in
excess of $1500.
There is also planned a joint
effort with the Rho Phi chapter's
WEDDING BELLS RING
As you may already know from the
ISGA newsletter, recent graduate
Mark (Mongo) Sullivan was recently
married to the lovely Amy Meyer.
The wedding was on February 15 in
Greentown, IN.
Another wedding on the same week
end was that of Kieth Ginger, wed
in Fort Wayne to Susan Hathaway.
We wish both couples much joy
and happiness in their lives to
gether.
mST RECENT GRADUATES
Spring pledge class, of a philan
thropic nature.
This area, philanthropic, has not
been especially successful, but it
is hoped that things will start up
again, and that with the Ebony/Ivory
proceeds. Phi Gamma Delta at ISU
will be able to help those who are
in need of help.
At semester. Iota Sigma had two
of its members go out into the "real
world."
Graduating were Mark (Mongo)
Sullivan, now employed by Frito-Lay
in Dallas, Texas, and past President
Ed Vawter, who is presently serving
as
a
Graduate Assistant at
Purdue
University, working towards his Master's
in the field of Chemistry. Much
luck to
both!!
THE HOUSE IFIPROVES
The Iota Sigma chapter house is
still on the upswing, in terms of
constant improvements. The Housing
Corporation has done many things to
make the house more comfortable and
safer to live in.
This includes a
new fire alarm system, new ceilings
in many of the public areas, and
even overhead lighting in the alwaystoo-dark formal living room!
The
fall 1985 pledge class rebuilt the
basement steps in the rear of the
house.
Planned improvements for
1986-87 include new desks, dressers,
and mattresses.
