Chapter President's
Report
The school year once again underway,
the brothers of Xi Deuteron began the Fall
1996 semester with an inspiring chapter
retreat and some emergency officer
elections. During tihe retreat the Chapter
defined its current status as balancing on a
wave; we could either sUde over it and
flounder in mediocrity or ride it to new
heights. The consensus of the brothers was
to improve ourselves and the Chapter. In
order to bring about these improvements,
we concentrated on bolstering scholarship,
public relations, finances and recruitment. I
am proud to say that we are progressing in
aU of these areas.
Officer elections were held to fill a
leadership void incurred during the
summer; we imfortunately lost our
President and Historian for the fall
semester. The elections brought two new
Cabinet members: Martin Woyczynski *98
as Historian and Andy Horrigan '99 as
Recording Secretary. Andy took over for
me, and 1 moved up to President.
