This national fraternity conference

The conference also included
beneficial workshops addressing
such topics as recruitment, pledge

The brothers who attended the

THE COUGAR FIH
Pi Mu is Having a Great Year!
Pi Mu Chapter has had a great 2004, and we are looking
forward to even better things in 2005! Our chapter was wellrepresented at Ekklesia in Atlanta, GA, last August. What a
great way to meet Fijis from all across the nation and learn
more about our fraternity.
In January, we sent five collegiate brothers to the annual
Leadership Academy in St. Louis, MO. Attending these
Fijis (1-r) Jeff Thatcher,Rich Whaley, Jason Carter and
Alex Thompson in St. Louis for the Leadership Academy
meetings allows our young men the opportunity to interact
with fraternity brothers from across the nation. We are so
grateful for the financial support given to our chapter by our
generous graduate brothers and House Corporation, which
allowed us to attend these meetings.
We are excited about our spring pledge class of 14 out
standing young men. The Fiji house is operating at near
capacity, which is where we like to be! We are always
looking for a few good men to become part ofour fraternity,
so if you have a relative or family friend who plans to attend
WSU—and whom you believe might be interested in learn
ing more about fraternity life—please contact Recruitment
Chairman David Burnett. His cell phone number is (206)
769-2784. He would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
Last, but certainly not least, thank-you to all the graduate
brothers who stopped by the chapter house during the
Cougar football season. We appreciated the opportunity to
visit with you, and to give you the chance to meet our
undergraduate brothers and take a tour of the house. If you
did not make it by during football season, but are visiting
Pullman, please stop by and say hello.
