THE DELTA CLASS
After two weeks of recruitment efforts, the
Lambda Omega Colony managed to recruit a
pledge class of 15 gentlemen to join the rest of the
colony members OF Lambda Omega. The Delta
pledge class was the last colony pledge class
before the colony's chartering this February. The
pledge class consisted of twelve first year
students, one second year, one third year and one
fourth year. Pictured on the top row, from Left to
Right are Brad Seskin, Jason Grossman, Michael
Peros, Jon Tse, Nate Wise, Chris Balkos, Kaho Kan and Andrew Ross. On the bottom row from left to
right are Peter Chehade, Josh Rock, Andrei Irimia, Shane Nightingale, Josh Stiller, Josh Sonshine and Ben
Baxter. On Saturday November 27", 2010 the 15 pledges were initiated into the colony and are now

\r\nFIJ| FASHION SHOW
Along with the Fl Campout for Mental Health, the gentlemen of Phi
Gamma Delta decided to put on another philanthropy event that this
time involved a little competition! On Tuesday November 2nd, 2010,
UWO sororities competed to be the winners of the first ever annual FIJI
Fashion Show. Sororities designed outfits that fit the description of four
categories and presented them to a panel of judges in form of a fashion
show. Phi Gamma Delta raised roughly $1,000.00. Some of the
proceeds from the event went to winning sororities charity of choice.
Alpha Gamma Delta came out on top for the win and therefore
proceeds were given to them to distribute to the charity of their choice.
GET SWABBED WITH FIJI + AGD
On November 16", 2010 from 8am-6pm AGD and
i FUI held “Get Swabbed” a bone marrow drive for
2 the Canadian Campus Wide Bone Marrow Drive
Competition!
Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and Phi Gamma Delta
fraternity, the respective Greek organizations of
Jessica and Jason Grossman who lost their father
due to not being able to find a match quickly enough, teamed up to run this drive on campus not only to
get more people on the national registry to help those in need, but to help their father’s legacy live on.
We ended up coming in 3 place in all Ontario for Universities with the most amounts of swabs. Thank
you to everyone who helped!

\r\nMr. Greek and Airbands
The Brothers of the Lambda Omega colony DOMINATED in inter-Greek competitions this past
semester. Brother Francis Beuron (pictured left) came in SECOND PLACE in Alpha Phi’s annual
Mr. Greek competition. With his impressive break dancing, he danced into the judges and
crowds hearts and gave an impressive performance! Also, the Delta pledge class competed in
Kappa Alpha Theta’s annual fraternity lip-synch dance competition and came out with an
impressive FIRST PLACE winning the trophy over most other fraternities on campus. Below are
pictures of the celebration that occurred when the winners were announced and most of the
pledge class holding the trophy the next day at pledge education.
