It had been billed as The Came. Feel

contest between deadly arch-rivals
Wabash College and DePauw University.
It is a contest for a dull, old, railroad bell,
the Monon Bell, and yet, it is more. Vic
tory means glory, bragging rights, super
iority, for a year.
This year marked the 88th playing of the
football game, and the series stood at
40-39-8, Wabash. It is the oldest continous
rivalry west of the Alleghenies, and for
good reason.
Nearly 11,000 pandemonious fans cram

CABINET
PsI chapter held elections November 16
to select five new officers for the coming
term. Barry Bone ('83), from Indianapolis,
was chosen as our new president. Barry
currently holds the office of Historian on
this year's cabinet. He Is a Chemistry ma
jor, a member of the Sphinx Club, and is
president of the American Chemical Saclety on campus. He expressed his satis
faction with the election's outcome: "I'm
very happy with the new cabinet and am
looking forward to a successful year for
PsI."
There Is a man associated with PsI
chapter whose help at times unfortunate
ly goes unnoticed. This man's help varies
from buying kegs of beer when the tap
runs dry to helping the house with legal
questions. He's James E. Ayers, resident
of Crowfordsvllle and a member of the
Board of Chapter Advisors and the Hous
ing Corporation. Mr. Ayers graduated
from Wabosh In 1963 and from Harvard
Law School In 1966 and Is presently a
member of the law firm Wernle, RIstlne

Ayers described him during his college
days as "a pretty serious scholar." Accord

For coach Max Servies', 21 consecutive
winning seasons is a landmark only to be
surpassed by a national wrestling title.
The Wobash grapplers will be shooting for
