Norris Pig Dinner a Success
The Really Good Guys
Seventy-two graduate brothers attended the 1992 Norris Pig
Dinner. The earliest class represented was 1935, and the
youngest was 1986. Jim Collins,'46-353, and Chuck Gassman,
'46-356, were co-chairmen. The 1993 affair will have Len Frank,
'54-485, as the lead man.
Here are those good guys again. These are the graduate
brothers who, since the first of 1992, have contributed a "C-note"
for dues or for building funds as of June 1. Our sincere thanks
There were 17 golfers who attended and 13 others who con
tributed to dinner costs but were unable to attend. Our grateful
thanks to them.
It is reported that there were six sets of "sires and sons." They
were; Phil Brandt, Jr.,'36-187, and Bill,'69-751; Allan Thomp
son, '56-519, and Doug,'85-1099; Lee Dressier, '46-355, and
Dan,'77-943; Dick Weaver,'56-521, and Jon,'85-1106; and John
Poorman, Jr., '63-646, and Andy,'95. There was also one tri
ple: Bob Morrison, '43-302, with Jim, '84-1064, and David,
'86-1123.

How about those three of'64? Our total received so far this
calendar year is just below $3,000, and our goal is $10,000. How
about some help from some of you new contributors? Remember
— the only gift that is too small is no gift at all! — C. H."Scram"

Rush Referral Card Enclosed
The chapter needs our help this year. This summer the rush
committee and the undergraduate members will be competing
against not only the other fraternities but also the dorms.
The dorms now have exercise rooms and selective menus

at mealtimes as attractions. All this is due to an expected reduc
tion in enrollment. Please, take the time to check with neighbors,
friends, and if possible, high school staff and use the enclosed
card to get the name or names of prospective brothers back to
the rush chairman. Thanking you in advance, — Tom Jackson
