\r\nChi etas all over the world
This summer the undergraduates of Chi Eta were learning, serving and working in
all kinds of capacities and areas. From internships to mission trips to study abroad
opportunities, Chi Etas are always striving to pursue excellence in every area. Featured on the next two pages are the stories of what Chi Etas did this summer.
Logan Reynolds (2018) – Spent 10 weeks in Changwon,
South Korea conducting chemical research with the chemistry department at Changwon National University.
Ben Brooks (2017) – Participated in a 10-week Community Management Internship with Walgreen’s in Bowling
Green. Ben handled store operations, merchandising and
inventory management, along with senior outreach and immunization outreach events along with Prescription adherence improvement processes. His internship was capped

Parker Kuhn (2016), Brent Stephens (2016) – Interned at Kensington Park Senior Living Communities in Kensington, Md., learning the ins and outs of today’s long-term care environment.
Matt Millay (2018) – Participated in the Summer Medical and Dental Education program at the University of Louisville, which offers opportunities for undergraduates to experience the way in which math and science are integrated
into medical and dental school studies and careers.
Grant Rohleder (2017), Colton Hounshell (2016), Brandon Pruitt (2017) and Austin Richards (2017) – For 10 weeks
the four brothers were in Taiwan for an intensive Chinese immersion program.
Andrew Boyles (2016) – Intern at Level Four Wealth Management in Bowling Green, preparing client data and researching the financial market.

\r\nEnes Atici (2018) – Spent ten weeks at the University of Kentucky conducting hormonal research on
fruit flies. Also went to Turkey for two weeks.
Elijah Essa (2017) – Interned at the Finance Department at Appriss in Louisville, where he assisted with
the rollout of new reporting software.
Hayden Hickey (2016) – Intern at Norton Healthcare in Louisville working in organizational development.

Jamie Harvener (2016) – Performed in “42nd Street” which starred Tony
award winning actress Karen Ziemba. They used the original “revival” choreography.
Chris McKenna (2016) – Intern at the Institute of International Education in
New York. Chris worked in the US student program’s office, the Fulbright
scholarship in particular.
Jacob Tipton (2018) – Took part in an Honors 251 trip to Washington and did research on DC Home Rule. Also went
on a mission trip with his church to Guatemala working alongside Hope of Life Mission, helping construct a house
and the first floor of a church in the village of Miramundo.
Taylor Bowling (2016) – Project Engineer Intern for Messer Construction in Nashville as a Project Engineer constructing a Humanities building for Volunteer State Community College.
Carson Price (2017) – Interned at Honeywell, a uranium refinery where he labeled pipes at the Honeywell metropolis
showing what was in the pipe and the direction of flow.
Alec Brown (2017) – Intern Tournament Coordinator at the Indiana Golf Office. Traveled the state of Indiana, spending all too many nights in Holiday Inn Expresses, directing and officiating junior golf tournaments for the Indiana
Golf Foundation.
