2018 Ohio Wesleyan University Pig Dinner Weekend Luncheon

The past and current brothers of the Theta Deuteron chapter at Ohio Wesleyan University gathered for the 115th annual Pig Dinner. The weekend started off great with a solid lunch in the basement of the Lodge early in the afternoon on Saturday the 24th. Sixty-one brothers (literally) squeezed in and enjoyed each other's company, learning more about the status of the chapter as well as exchanging all sorts of stories. As dinner came around 5:30 pm, brothers cheered on the 11 new pledges, scarfed down a wonderful meal, listened to University President Rock F. Jones' campus update report which was then followed by an incredibly motivating speech from the evening speaker, Dan Glaser (Ohio Wesleyan University 1982) who is CEO of Marsh & McLennan. The current brothers of Theta Deuteron later honored Don Maxwell (Ohio Wesleyan University 1956) as this year's Unsung Hero. This award is given to a graduate brother who has devoted productive time and assistance to the chapter under-the-radar and has not been recognized. After dinner, the brothers enjoyed the rest of the evening conversing in downtown Delaware, Ohio. The current and graduate brothers of Phi Gamma Delta had a fantastic weekend.
