In our attempts to find more projects for the Brothers, we ap proached the City Manager of Worces ter, Francis McGrath. The City Manager was very interested in our work, and directed us to the Friendly House Orphanage in Worcester. This orphanage is a Red I-'eather organi zation, attempting to provide the facilities enabling young .Americans to learn the principles of sportsmanship and citizenship. The physical plant at the house was in bad need of repair and cleaning. .After all estimates and plans had been made and materials and tools had been acquired, the Brothers moved out of the Chapter House and invaded the orphanage. Flvery room in the house was com pletely scoured (walls, floors, and (Continued on page 3) On Saturday evening, March 18, the new brothers (pledges at the time), sponsored a party for the brothers and their dates. The affair, entitled "Bava rian Beer I'arty," was held in the party room of the cellar. To provide atmosphere, the walls of the party were picting covered Bavarian with murals mountain de scenes (painted by the pledges), the dining room were used tables Bavarian inn, the to simulate a floor was covered with cedar chips.
