\r\nPi Iota Wins Sports Trophy
One of the high points for Pi Iota
last year was the winning of the sports
trophy. Competition throughout the year
was tough in all the sports but we managed
several outstanding performances and did
well in almost all the activities.

The campaign got off well with our
volleyball squad led by Paulo Clark making
it to the playoffs. The boys played tough
all the way and captured third place, los

With the entire team back, there are high
hopes for victory again this year.
In the lesser known sports bowling and
ping pong, Fiji's held their own and main

with Jim Aceto winning the high jump.
Every day on the diamond produced a
new hero. Bruce (Hap) Szypot, Greg Stamper,
Choo Choo Charak, Fish and Mike Merkle were
the big bats while Bill Delphos maintained
his perfect
mound record with
another un
beaten season. As we entered the playoffs
the cup race came down to the Kap and us.
With smashing playoff victories over TKE
and Sig Ep, we clinched it all.

Rosser was another bowling standout and
several brothers competed in ping pong.
