1982 Chapter House Fire at Iowa State University
Fire and Ice strike the Alpha Iota chapter house in January 1982. Not only was the chapter house damaged by the fire, the water used to fight the fire in the frigid January weather created dramatic ice deposits on the exterior of the chapter house.
