Norris Pig Dinner
by Mark Berns '97
On April 1, 1995 the annual Norris Pig Dinner was
held at Soangetaha Country Club and it was a spectacular
event. A large buffet was prepared and enjoyed by all.
Once again, the pig was cooked but not eaten. Keith Maurer
'88 performed admirably as the M.C. for the night, keeping

all entertained with jokes and one-liners. Glenn B. Moor, a
graduate of Texas Tech and the outgoing Director of
Business Affairs for International Headquarters, was happy to be our guest speaker this year. He
gave an excellent speech that everyone could learn something from, pledges, actives and graduates
alike. All in attendance were entranced by his emotion toward keeping Phi Gamma Delta strong
and powerful. Even Pig Dinner
joker Tom Jaros '89 kept everyone
laughing. The pledges enjoyed
their first Pig Dinner as the oldest
graduate buried their faces in the
pig's tail. All in all, the night was
a great success.
