The Kappa Rho chapter at Rhode Island State College (now the University of Rhode Island was founded on December 9, 1950. The chapter ceased on February 3, 2001. The chapter rechartered on March 9, 2008. The chapter is located in Kingston, Rhode Island. 

The Ritual Team included: Legate: Henry G. Caniglia (Rhode Island 1958); Chapter President: Jonathan P. Edelen (RPI 2009); Chapter Treasurer: Kyle R. Barden (RPI 2010); Recording Secretary: Patrick J. Sullivan (RPI 2010); Corresponding Secretary: Andrew J. Powell (RPI 2010); and Chapter Historian: Timothy M. Cole (RPI 2010). 

The Directors included: Ryan O. Sebastian (WPI 2010); Joseph B. Leverone (WPI 2010); David P. Mullen (WPI 2009); and Robert J. Odell (WPI 2009).
