Founding Date

The Chi Eta chapter at Western Kentucky University chartered May 1, 2010. The chapter is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

At that time, Chi Eta was only the second chapter charted on May 1 (Founder's Day). The other chapter was Alpha at Washington & Jefferson College.

The ritual team included: Legate: Benjamin R. Harper (Kentucky 1969); Chapter President: Theodore M. Engle (Tennessee Tech 2012); Chapter Treasurer: Christopher J. Watkins (Evansville 2010); Recording Secretary: Matthew C. Dempsey (Kentucky 2011); Corresponding Secretary: Richard Murphey Coy (Kentucky 2011); and Chapter Historian: Cameron A. McDougal (Wabash 2012).

The Directors were: Alexander M. Sener (Purdue 2013); James T. Chapman (Kentucky 2011); Jeremy A. Govero (Tennessee Tech 2010); Benjamin G. Deutsch (Evansville 2012); Tyler J. Condrey (Evansville 2011); Daniel J. Purdy (Evansville 2010); Jordan L. Surenkamp (Wabash 2013); and Jacob Way (Evansville 2013).
