The Sigma Upsilon chapter at Southwest Texas State University chartered on November 10, 1990. The chapter ceased in June 1996. The chapter is located in San Marcos, Texas.

The chapter rechartered on August 29, 2020. The rechartering was virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ritual Team included: Legate: David Bland (Texas 1993); Wesley Ward (Texas A&M 1991); Sam Gleason (Southern Methodist 1993); Matt DiPasquale (Texas A&M 1991); Dave Braeger (Southern Methodist 1989); and Richard Cuccia (Southern Methodist 1992).
