The Phi chapter, later called the Phi Deuteron chapter chartered on the campus of the University of Maryland on October 11, 1878. They then ceased in 1883 but were revived as Phi Deuteron on January 27, 1979. The Provisional Chapter was restarted during the 2023-2024 academic year. The chapter was located in Baltimore, Maryland and now in College Park, Maryland.
