Fathers Weehend Big Success
November 4 and 5 saw the arrival of
about thirty fathers, as, once again, .Alpha
'Exprienced" Cabinet Takes Over

tary in the coming year. Majoring in Eco
nomics, he is enrolled in the .School of
Literature. Science, :incl .Arts. Ceorge
served as Rush Chairman lor two semes
ters including the Spring, which saw the

iiistory. His athletic endeavors hiive in
cluded basketball (Captain of this year's
A-finalist). Softball, and tennis. He was a
member of the Freshman Basketball team.

of the Joint Judiciary Council and Presi

macy.

The weather cooperated too, as the
whole weekend was clear and sunny.
For many, the highlight of the week
end was Michigan's fine 28-14 victory over
a spirited Duke team. For others, how
ever, the highlight came in a brilliant
performance by the combined MichiganDuke Glee Clubs on Saturday evening.
Another high point was the excellent
steak dinner that everyone enjoyed Sun
day noon.
The dinner, however, followed break
fast and a meeting of the Father's Club.
During this meeting, new officers were
elected and the hat was passed for dona
tions. The donations were then turned
over to the Mother's Club for expendi
ture on house improvements. The new
