\r\nEGA Report
A major problem over the past year, with
the BCA advisors, has been a lack of
communication between the undergraduate
chairperson to the respective advisor
and the advisor to the BCA President.
It is easy to have good comnunication
when things are running well. Everyone
likes to announce good news. It is when
things are mediocre or running poorly
people have trouble communicating because
they feel poor results reflect upon them.
That is why we have a BCA; to help the
chapter get over the stumbling blocks.
The BCA does not have all the answefs but
we do have the people and resources to
aid in problem solving.
It has been decided that each advisor
shall call thier undergraduate counter
part each month with a report to be
submitted to the president the first
week of the month, with the first repo»t
due in September. This is to initiate
a constant dialogue between the two
organizations and find gliches before
they become problems. This process will
help in both communication and motivations,
.emember if there is no progress in your
committee that should still be reported.
ROSE
With the change from Quarters to semesters,
incoming freshmen are eligible to pledge.
If you know of any incoming freshmen please
forward thier name to the house with
attention to the rush chairman. Rush will
be held from Sept. 't-lS with formal dates
om Monday and Thursday of both weeks.

FROM THE HODSB CC8PORATION
By now, all graduate brothers should
have received a large package from Dana
Hesse regarding changes made to the House
Corporation. Some of you have expressed
confusion as to what you need to do to
join the corporation. Basically, each
graduate brother needs to sign the "Application for Membership" that Dana sent
out in his mailing and return it to him.
That is all that is necessary to become
a voting member. of the corporation.
However, if you wish to stay informed of
the day-to-day actions of the corporation,
we are asking that each member contribute
a minimum of $30 /yr. This money will go
towards the costs of printing and mailing
of all minutes , agendas , proxy vote forms ,
etc. We are hoping that everyone will
elect to stay as informed as possible
by receiving this information. This will
allow us to spend more time at our meetings
tackling problems and generating new
ideas and less time reporting on
past actions.
If you decide to join and keep abreast
of the corporation and contribute the
$30 minimum, please make the check
payable to "Rho Alpha Chapter House
Corp." and send it to Dana (along
with your application). If you decide
not to join, please consider a donation
to the House Corporation anyway. We will
Bow be spending more money on fixing up
the house than before and more donations
will mean more improvements for Phi
Gamma Delta at Virginia Tech.
Please call either myself or Dana at the
numbers below if you have any questions.
I look forward to seeing your name on our
corporate roster.
