UPDATES FROM LAMBDA IOTA OF PHI GAMMA DELTA

CABINET INSTALLED
To start the new year at 640 Russell, the 1989-90 cabinet officers
stepped down from their positions to allow the 1989-90 officers to take over.
The chapter was more than just satisfied with the '88-90 cabinets
performance. Their leadership and good decision maklnn was evident
throughout their term. The chapter will miss Peter I'ingma, Dan Kelly, Joe
Leone, .John Noel and Skip Francis
The cabinet of '89-90 are very enthusiastic to begin the new year.

DINNER
The 87th annual Norrls Pig Dinner will be held Feb. 25, 1989 at the
Lambda Iota Chapter House. The undergraduate brothers strongly
encourage graduate brothers to attend the dinner. Featured as the guest
speaker is brother J Timothy McGinley, class of '62 Lambda Iota.

RENOVATION OF CHAPTER ROOM

Great thanks goes to graduate brother Bill Miller for the tremendous
amount of tiioii and v»urk he put into renovaiing the chapter room. Some
improvements made were painting the walls and floor, and covering up
ceiling pipes with dry wall. Brother Miller put up the dry wall, which
was the most difficult part of the renovation.
,
The undergraduate brothers are very thankful for his service and
loyalty to the chapter.
FIRST ANNUAL PHI GAM RETREAT
The First Annual Phi Gam Retreat took place Saturday; January 21 to
further increase brotherhood. A Retreat Committee organised a day of funfilled and constructive activities for the brothers. It was a good time to get
away and spend quality time with brothers.
HOUGH, KELLY AND TIMMONS RECEIVE RUDOLPH AWARD
Brothers Kevm Hough, Dan Kelly and Jay Timmons were all honored
by receiving the Joe Rudolph Award for their outstanding service and
brotherhood
