PIG DINNER
Final plans are in the making for
Sigma Mu's annual Norris Pig Dinner,
slated for Satiirday, March 23, 197U.
The festivities Td.ll begin at 6:30 ydth
cocktails at the House, followed an hour
later by dinner at the Holiday Inn in
Starkville. Robert P. Radcliffe, Archon
Councilor, will be the guest speaker
and Idlton B. Cash, vice president of the
House Corporation, mil serve as toastmaster. Hie Dinner mil be preceded
Saturday afternoon by meetings of the
House Corporation and Board of Chapter
Advisors. Every Fiji in the state is
urged to come and take part in the
brotherhood of this great event.

"A blast" is the only description
for Sigma Mu's Black Diamond Formal,
held on February 23 in Columbus, "Shot
gun" proved to be a fantastic band,
and everyone had a great time. The

Tom Kirkland was elected Interfratem-
ity Council President on February U.
A Junior majoring in Political Science,
Tom came to IKU last fall from Mer
idian Junior College, pledged Phi

Sporting a 5-U record, the Fiji
basketball team recently completed a
successful season.
Regular season
play resulted in victories over Lambda
Chi (twice), Sigma Nu, Triangle, and
Kapoa Alpha; and losses to Sigma Alpha
Epsilon, Kaopa Alpha, and Farmhouse.
Phi Gamm made the playoffs, but was
de.feated in the eliminations by Pi
Kappa Alpha.
The Fiji Softball team is now pre-
paring for the upcoming Intramural
Softball season.
