Fifth Street, North Logan, Utah 64321 February 7, GRADUATE 1974 NEWSLETTER Dear Brothers, Pocabello Trip ®"V •■>,5 Twelve of the Brothers and two Tri~Delts traveled up to Pocatollo on the 26th to visit our Colony. All had a good time at the Bengal Hut, We proceeded to watch ISU beat USU in a verygood basketball game. We sat with our Colony Brothersiin ISU seats and cheered USU until we told the ISU coach to sit down which upset him and almost got us thrown out. All in all it was a fine cultutal exchange. Section Convention This years convention will be hosted by Utah State. Brothers from Arizona State, University of Arizona, University of New Mexico, and Idaho State Colony will begin arriving friday after noon on february the 15th. Activities are as follows: Friday the 15th. 7:00 Concert; 10:00 House Party Saturday the 16th. 9:00 Skiing; 5:00 B-ball game; 9:30 House Party Sunday the 17th. 9:30 Breakfast, Registration; 11:00 Doxology-Introduction-Welcome; 11:30 Keynote Speaker; 11:45 Group Discussion, (l) Rush (2) Pledge Education (3) Frat ernities are Back; 1:00 Lunch; 2:30 Group Summaries; 3:00 FIJI Bowl and Laugh! In; 4:00 Awards; 4:10 Glosing(I)anny' s Speech); Free Time; 8:00 Tubing on Old Main with the Tri-Delts. Monday the 18th. 9:30 Skii.ng and goodbyes! ■ h;. t.'s Piaaoad This years formal is presently planned for March 2nd at the Ben Loraand Hotel in Ogden, Utah. The dinner will begin at 7:30 and dancing will begin at 9:00. If you plan-to come please contact us. If you wish for us to reserve you a dinner or hotel room please indicate so.
