CABINET INSTALLATION
PIG DINNER
Sigma Mu Chapter's nevr officers
were installed Sunday, January 13.
Brothers assundry positions in the 197U
cabinet are: Robert Siedell, Pres
ident; Thomas Maze, Treasurer; Bob
Stimson, Recording Secretary; Porter
Sigma Ifu's fifth annual Norris Pig
Dinner '.irill be held on March 23, 197U,

INITIATION
The first weekend in January saw
the initiation of six new brothers into
Phi Gamma Delta, They were Mark Colbert,
freshman, Greenville; Bobby Henry,
junior, Indianola; Tom Kirkland, junior,
Meridian; Ed Norton, sophmore, Williamsburg, Va; Chris Rebmann, freshman,
Jackson; and Kevin Walters., freshman,
Idssissippi. State's spring intra
mural program is now beginning, and
Phi Gamms are in the thick of it. A
proiaising basketball team has begun its
season, and other brothers are competing
in table tennis, bowling, and badmitton. Phi Gamm is presently in second
place for the Intramural Participation
Trophy, although Billy }5artin. Sports
chairman, is confident that a concerted
effort by the brothers vAll carry Phi
Aberdeen.

SPRING RUSH
Nl/iifS OF BROTHERS
Spring Rush is now in progress,
and so far it has been a great success,
A well co-ordinated rushing effort di
rected by Jon Naugher and Robert Siedell
gained four pledges during formal rush.
They are; Jimmy Bost, Ecru; Ken Graves,
Jackson; Neil Hilliard, Amory; and
Jimmy Moore, Amory. Phi Gamra is now
engaged in open rush, and the prospects
arw good for filling out the pledge
class with several more outstanding
