University. As you have all noticed by now, a few bro thers worked over the summer to improve the House as they pain ted the kitchen, window woodwork, Siberry's Room, the basement stairs, and the now-famous purple pipes. Consequently, these areas of the House- especially the basement- look better than they have in years. Let's make the most of these improvements by keeping the House in good condition. This year's homecoming is almost upon us. On Saturday, Oc tober 17, the Maroons battle the Beloit Buccaneers at 1:30 on Stagg Field. There will be receptions at the House both before and after the game for graduate brothers, parents, and family. Take advantage of this opportunity to both share food and drink with familiar graduate brothers and to meet some new ones. Field Secretary Matt Amend (Iowa '87) will visit Chi Upsilon from October 25-29. Officers and committee chairmen should meet with him individually.
