Norris Pig Dinner
Just as expected, the 5th Annual Norris Pig Dinner was a
tremendous success. The presence of the Baker and Cheney Cups
made the dinner more special than usual.
Hie evening began with dinner, followed by an address from
current Archon Vice President, Doug Dietrich. Brother Dietrich
stressed the importance of striving for the goals we have set for
ourselves and as a chapter.
Traditionally, presentations of Gold and Silver Owl Awards
follow the address. However, since there were no awards this year.

Naaman educator Craig Reese said,'This has to be the most
diverse class I've seen go through. They've got majors that range
from pre-med to engin^ring to business." From the beginning, this
diversity has helped them to become very close. Only being in the
fifth week of their pledgeship, the class has already had great
accomplishments.
They have taken first place in The Second Annual Virgin Drink
Contest for best overall drink,in addition to sweeping first place in
six ofseven other categories. The pledge class also received a grand
prize of $150.00, which they have already budgeted towards their
social events, house gift, and class paddle. The Naamans have also
written their first letter to their graduate brother pen pals. The
Naaman Education Committee has tried to match them up with
graduates who can relate to their particular major or field of study.
"The Lambda class still has a lot to do before they can wear our
beloved badge. I, as Naaman Educator along with my excellent
committee, will see that they are ready," Reese concluded.
