A
BIG SUCCESS
The annual Indiana State University Homecoming celebration was a big
success, with a good number of Brothers back to Terre Haute who hadn't
graced ISU with their presence for a long time!!
The day was perfect,
refreshments were tasting great (and were maybe less filling, too?),
and the Brotherhood was as always at Iota Sigma - the BEST!
Brothers
Ed
in attendance included:
Larrv Watson '71, Brvan Mever '86,
•'85, Don sippel '88, Barrel 1 Dav '78,
Randv Lucas '78, Jeff
CIIng '74, Tom Lang '90, Johnnv (Rotten) Richards '84, Grea Hunt '80,
Stgvg King '86, Mark Sul1ivan '85, Dave Weszelv '86, Mark Grimmer '90,
Charlie Brown '74, Kurt Vooel '87, Rolo Miles '89, Tom Barlow '88,
Bill Niederer '85, and of course Don Miahel1 (Texas '56).
Present for
the Homecoming meeting of the Housing Corporation but not able to make
the game was Jeff Farrel1 '75.
If anyone was omitted from the above
l i s t , my apologies - I tried to write everyone down later but may have
forgotten some!!
Speaking of Homecoming -
several
Brothers were remarking on the small
size of the Phi Gam tent at Memorial Stadium, and how they would like
us to have a larger tent.
Just for your information - the small tent
that we have had for the past two years costs $70 for the day, and has
been paid for by ONE brother each year.
If you would like to
contribute to get a bigger tent or towards refreshments, you are free
to do so -
send
them
to
the
ISGA earmarked for
the
tent
costs.
The undergraduate chapter paid for the GREAT catered lunch at the
stadium, hoping to receive some donations back to help pay for it.
Unfortunately, few Brothers donated towards this, so it is unknown if
they will be able to afford this type of set-up next year.
If you
would like to help keep a high quality Homecoming get-together at the
game, please send donations to the undergraduates or be prepared to
give at the game!
MOVING??
PLANNING TO CHANGE JOBS?
If you are planning to move, have Just married (or returned to the
single life), have a new child, and/or change Jobs, whatever, please
let the ISGA know!!
Drop a letter or postcard to ISGA and the
following will be done:
l)
Your new Job, status, etc. will be listed
in the next newsletter, (as much as you want listed!), letting all the
Iota Sigma Phi Gams know what you're up to;
2)
If there's a new
address involved, it will be sent on to the International Headquarters
so you'll continue to receive The Phi Gamma Delta Journal,
uninterrupted; 3) the Iota Sigma Graduate Association mailing list
will be updated for future undergraduate and graduate mailings.

NEEDS YOUR
CONTRIBUTIONS!
Once again, the ISGA's money Is running low.
Several Brothers were
generous and gave some money at the Homecoming celebrations to help
keep the mailings going, and they should be thanked - DON SIPPEL,
LARRY WATSON, BRYAN MEYER, JEFF CLINE.
Thank you. Brothers!
Without
income, the ISGA would cease to send these newsletters.
The money in
the ISGA account is used ONLY for postage and for printing these
newsletters (buying paper, since i t ' s copied at school - thank you,
Indiana taxpayers), so don't think i t ' s spent on Homecoming or Pig
Dinner stuff - there's simply not enough money for anything but its
intended purpose - to keep you all informed!I
PLEASE SEND YOUR
