I wag ..bern i n Fsrt trlayne, IN at 1: --?.Ct A["] t:n October 4! Lqb?.
I have lived rny entire Iife in the Fsrt hlayne area and have
prsbabl y hated the ci ty aI I my life.
The CInIy times I wish I
HaE thrre sre when I arn sitting at ,ny desk i n Terre Haute.
f grew up on =ports and was always way ahead of the rest of
the kids my age
because of my size.
I played varsity
haskethall and fsotball in High school and never really had
to wsrk at it.
r also did the hest r could to make rife hard
for my teachers. I breezed through school without even
tryine..,
I ended urp at Rose because Rose got a hold o{ my SAT sctrreE
and they were impressed. (I tetrk them after putling an all
nighter partying!) I decided to trome to Roge only because I
wanted the money and the guaranteed job. I played football
here my fresman year but I decided that fiy trareer was rlveir at
last after that.
Hy additr-rde has been less than what it should have been (I
thought I csuld get by on not studying) and I have had a
ceuple of bad quarters since pledging Fiji but f have yet to
regret my decision. I have been Asst. Houge Hanager and
then Hou=e I'lanager- r decided that r needed a position that
I would get sorne positive feedback ss I decided to be Erad R
chairman (so make me happy and write mel ! ),
I am present-ly a 5unior l.tE so consequently I will be
constantly he making fttn of EEs. l'ly immediate goals are to
trLrre the severe apathy problern among the graduates. Eio far I
feel that f"vE had qurite a few srltrtresses but in the irnmortal
trords g{ John FauI Jones: "f have not yet begun to fight!"
I believe that f arn not the Eraduate Relations Chairrnan for
the chapter but instead I arn the link between the fantastic
graduates a{ this chapter and the idealg and goals of Phi
Gamma Deltaf sincerely believe {and I hope you do too}
that PHI EiAtll"lA DELTA IS NBT FOF COLLEGE DAYS ALONE!: !l
