This is the first of a new monthly publication to keep our closest graduates up to
date on the goals and achievements of the Delta Iota Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. We
hope that you enjoy it and that we can keep you well informed about all our endeavors.
^ The Delta Iota Chapter is proud to announce a successful spring rush where we
accepted three new freshman pledges increasing the house total to twenty-four
freshmen. We wish our new pledges luck and look forward to introducing them to our
tightly bound brotherhood.

With a cumulative hod^GPA of 3.17, t^e men of Delta Iota once again lead
"Greek Street" in grades for ta^efifth consecu^e semester. Delta Iota also has 8
brothers who have earned President's LisFhonors with a 4.0 and 13 brothers with
Dean's List honors earning over a 3.5.

Aside from academics, the men of Delta lota have blown away the competition in
intramurals this year. Our A-football team scored an unprecedented 198 points going
undefeated in Voltmer, All University and the state of Iowa. A-football was also invited
to compete for the national title in Nebraska where they narrowly lost in the quarter
midwest round. Fiji A-volleyball also went undefeated winning Voltmer and All
University losing only one set all season. Currently A-basketball is undefeated and
Delta Iota has five B basketball teams, the most in chapter history.
❖
This April, the brothers of Delta Iota plan to organize a graduate golf
tournament to continue brotherhood beyond the undergraduate years. All Fiji alumni
are invited to attend and we look forward to seeing you all there.
▼
The men of Delta Iota will continue to be busy this semester planning several
philanthropy outings including our annual Fiji Island event. We encourage our
graduate brothers to attend and also to stop by for the upcoming Drgk® Relays.
