Phi Gam vras represented in organizations such as
Cornell Ambassadors, Orientation Councilors, Engineering Co-op,
and the various '-onor Societies.
Athletically Phi Gam was Aiideljr represented,
captain of the golf team.

positions on the nationally ranked Soccer squad, J im Yost and
Aalph Derbyshirr rowed for the.-lightx-xeight crew, Jim Fovjer
and Bob Aatz repr-^'sented the Gam on the NCAA Championship
Lacrosse Squad. Katz was an All Ivy selection.
This years Pig Dinner was held in the North Campus Union
Hall and was an event to be remembered. The Kappa Nu Foundation
was decla.red to be officially out of debt. Brother A1 Cook
did the honors and burned t-Ue loan note. Awards were presented
to the underwrite"s in recognition of their s'rvlce to the
Chapter. This event marked a turning point fo":" t'-^is Chapter and
was a memorable experience for all who at^'end-d.
The iiji phonat'-on held in May netted a total of ?5760,
before matc'^^ing in the Three For One Fund, The organization and
professionalism of the Phi Gam operat'• on greatly im,pressed Cornells
professional fund raise'^s.

The I'iji Island party ws a great s".ccess as oer usual
but more impressive was the fine turnout of Alumni, The
L'nd^rgrads re.'^llv aupreciate your visits.
In relations with the National the Kappa I'Ju Chapter continued
to make a favorable impres"ion. A very encouraging sign is that
the point noted as strongest in the Chapter was the quality of
personel in all the classes. This seems to indicate that our
selection process has b'en successful.
In the Ithaca Community Fiji's gave their energies to the
Ithaca Youth Burea.u as coaches, g,dvlsors and suuervisors.
A few brothers were involved in the Campus Crusade Tor Christ.
The outlook for this -ear is very good.
There is an
und-'='rlyIng tone in the Chapter that we are on the verge of
realizing the friaits of our combined labors from the past six
years.

Our repea.ted succesa in the areas of our labor has spawned
The successful attitude is catching.

The house T^rin have its largest population in three years.
The indications are that the Kousinp; iccount will run a surplus
in excess of >1000. . The Dining Account is a. perennia.1 inonev
maker. The Ka,ppa Ivu foundation will ha.ve an impressive balance.
The debt with Cornell has been reduced by :^500. through the
profits from the previous two years of oper.a,ting the Dinins
Account. A study is underway to determine whe:"e, when, and the costs
of capital improvements. Each selection for capital i^nprovenent
x^Till recieve a uriority rating. This xfill allow for a sensible
application of our caoital ^unds.
