INDY AREA GRADS HAVE
SUCCESSFUL EVENT
On Saturday February 27tli some
graduates from the Indianapolis
area got together for dinner and an
evening out. The event was
planned and arranged by the
Graduate Association and a good
time was had by all. About 20
graduates from four different
pledge classes gathered at the

Oaken Barrel Restaurant in
Greenwood, IN just South of
Indianapolis. It was a great chance
for brothers to gettogether and
catch up on each other's lives.
After dinner, the group went out on
the town. This was the first
graduate event planned by the
Association and it worked out well.
Future plans for the Central
Indiana group include an Indian's
baseball game this Spring.
As usual, the chapter will have a
catered tent at the game for graduates
and families. See you there!

\r\nRho Phi Chapter Update ...
The Rho Phi Chapter bas been very busy
over the last few months. The Fall
Quarter was extremely busy with rush
and getting the sophomores used to the
responsibilities of living in the.house.
Rush proved to be very successful this
year, as we took a class of 22 pledges.
Although it wasn't the largest class
taken this year, it is by far the best.
The fall was also successful for several
of our athletes. Although the football
team didn't have a banner year, several
Fin's had great seasons. Seniors Bryan
Hagelskamp,Todd Melby, Ryan
Boone, and Randy Sible were selected
as team captains. Junior Jonathon
Hulsman was selected as a pre-season
All-American, and several FIn's were
selected as pre-season AII-SCAC.
Sophomore Free Safety Justin
Blomenberg had a very successful
season, being named National Defensive
Player ofthe Week, SCAC player ofthe
week twice,and eventually Hewlett
Packard Third Team All-American.
FIn's named to the SCAC 2nd team
were Sible, Hagelskamp, Hulsman,
and Blomenberg. Melby and Boone
recieved honorable mention reCognition.
Hulsman was also nained Third Team
All-South Region, with Blomenberg
named to the First team. Hagelskamp
and Blomenberg were named Academic
All-District as well. Hagelskiuop was
also named the team's Defensive MVP.
