to
participate in a fraternity of the
past and not in the real world of

fraternity in the present age is
not an easy thing.
Fraternity rush numbers over
the past 10 years are down
10%, while enrollment at the
University of Nebraska and
sorority rush numbers are at
near record highs. We are
living in a community that is
highly anti-Greek and most
other fraternities are suffering

Phi Gamma Delta and the
University of Nebraska are

fraternities out of this rut.
As you learned from the House
Corporation Report, quite a bit
of construction has taken place
at Lambda Nu this year. Much
was quite overdue, but there is
still much left. The old side of
the house was constructed in
1931 and the new in 1965.
Much of the electrical work and
plumbing
has not been
updated in years.
